Die Jobcenter betreuen Arbeitslosengeld-II-Bezieher. Aufgaben der Jobcenter sind die Leistungsgewährung (passives Leistungsrecht) und die Vermittlung in Arbeit (aktives Leistungsrecht).
Das passive Leistungsrecht umfasst alle Leistungen zur Sicherung des Lebensunterhalts, etwa die Regelleistung oder Leistungen der Unterkunft und Heizung.
Zum aktiven Leistungsrecht zählen alle Eingliederungsleistungen, wie Arbeitsgelegenheiten, Weiterbildungen oder Eingliederungszuschüsse. Dazu gehören auch kommunale Leistungen wie Suchtberatung oder Schuldenberatung.

Beschreibung:

Das Jobcenter befindet sich in der Hochofenstraße und ist barrierefrei zu erreichen. Parkplätze sind direkt vor dem Gebäude vorhanden (Behindertenparkplätze sind gekennzeichnet) (siehe Bild). Das Center steht auf einem gut begehbaren Gehweg direkt an der Fahrbahn. Diese ist asphaltiert und in gutem Zustand. Direkt an der Fahrbahn ist ein Anlehngitter aufgestellt (siehe Bild). Blinde und sehbehinderte Personen können das Gebäude sicher erreichen. Vor der Eingangstür ist ein kleiner Trittrost eingelassen. Die Tür ist groß genug für Rollstühle und barrierefrei zu passieren. Ein elektrischer Türöffner ist in neben der Tür angebracht (siehe Bild). Hinter der Tür ist noch ein Trittrost eingelassen.

The Jobcenters are serving the needs of recipients of ALG-II. Jobcenters are responsible for benefit-granting (passive benefits law) and job placement (active benefits law). The passive benefits law includes all subsistential benefits like the monthly benefit and the benefits for rent and heating. The active benefits law includes all efforts of integration, "Arbeitsgelegenheiten" (low income jobs without social insurance needed) or integration benefits. Municipal services like drug or debt counseling are also offered.

Description:

The Jobcenter is located at the end of Hochofenstraße and has barrier-free access. Parking lots are available in front of the building with handicapped parking marked (see picture). The Center is on a well walkable sidewalk directly at the driveway, which is made of concrete and is in very good shape. There are handrails mounted at the side of the road (see picture). Blind and visually impaired people are able to get to the building safely. A little gridiron is built into the ground in front of the door that is big enough for easy and barrier-free access for wheelchair users. There's an electric door opener at the handicapped entrance (see picture) and a gridiron is built into the floor behind the door.
